The ARTS at Marlow Martial Arts Academy

Our Mission

“To enhance our community by helping our students become their best self through the lifestyle of Martial Arts.”

Our Vision

To create future leaders, and arm our students with self-discipline, focus, respect, generosity, integrity and gratitude. Our purpose is not only to teach the skills of self-defense, but also develop the Mind, Body, and Spirit of our students.

Our Method

We are a non-traditional martial arts academy offering instruction in Striking (ages 5 and up), Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) ages 16 and up), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (ages 5 and above), Judo (all ages) and Cardio Kickboxing (ages 16 and up), and Yoga.

Self-Defense is our #1 priority, and our goal is to arm our students with the tools they need to be “bully proof.” Our striking curriculum is a blend of several styles, including boxing, kickboxing, kenpo, filipino martial arts, shotokan, and basic grappling.

MMAA offers a unique approach to teaching children with our mat chat session at the end of class. We discuss character building such as honesty, integrity, gratitude, respect just to name a few. We also award a student of the week stripe to the student or students showing extra effort.

All instruction methods are based on positive reinforcement techniques as the primary tool for instruction and motivation; while incorporating life-skills and safety training through the practice of martial arts.

The boys had a great experience in their first karate class last night, they couldn’t wait to show me all they had learned, wearing their gear around the house so excited. My husband was very impressed with the facility and management, especially Sensei Donnie and his interaction with our kids! We would recommend Marlow martial arts to adults and children both and our family can’t wait to be able to take more classes together!
