The Herrera Family moved back to Marlow in 2017 to be closer to family. Sensei Donnie is from Albuquerque, NM but got here as soon as he could! He loves small town America, and has fully embraced his Outlaw tribe. Opening Marlow Martial Arts Academy was a divine inspiration and has been the most rewarding experience of his life! His purpose is to lead and inspire others to become the best version of themselves and learn martial arts in the process. He is truly humbled and grateful for the opportunities God has given him through our Academy.
Ashley (Glover) has deep roots in Marlow/Bray areas. She was born and raised in Marlow until her family joined the Air Force when she was 9. She trained under Sensei Danny Perry as a child and has enjoyed getting back into Martial Arts. Ashley is a dental hygienist, yoga instructor and photographer. She serves on the board of the Marlow Chamber of Commerce and is passionate about seeing her hometown small businesses thrive and grow! Donnie and Ashley have two kiddos, Logan is 10 and Ava is 6.

Martial Arts Experience
Always having been interested in martial arts and sparsely practicing karate as a kid, college is where the journey truly began. In 2005, I was awarded my black belt in judo under Sensei Tony Mondejar in Ada, OK.
While attending chiropractic school in Dallas, I studied Chi Lin Quan Fa under my classmate and good friend, Dr. John Griffiths. This sparked a strong interest in Chinese martial arts. I briefly studied Pai Lum and earned my yellow sash.
For the last 10 years, I have been studying and practicing several styles of Baguazhang and Xingyi.
